High-fired Cone10-11 ceramic stoneware pottery mug. High-fired to 2350 degrees in a homemade kiln in a gas reduction-type atmosphere. Glossy, handmade unique layers of flowing glazes. Clean finish. High-end, individually made, unique pieces masterfully hand thrown on a pottery wheel. Artist signature is represented as a traditional potter's "chop" (hand-carved clay stamped frog).

All pieces are handcrafted by artisan from Virginia, USA.

The wiggles are created during the wet process at the pottery wheel. Once an object is created it is then wet and spun while one strong deliberate movement is pulled from the bottom of the pot upward. This makes for an organic loose form that interacts with the flowing layers of glazes.

Microwave, dishwasher safe. Durable.
